Here’s what you should know about me…

I am a licensed Psychologist in Guyana under the Allied Health Professions Council. I am also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) in the United States. Also, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Special) from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, and a Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Barry University in Miami, Florida.

Furthermore, I’m really an eclectic, trauma-informed counselor at heart, which basically means I pull from all kinds of approaches—CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, somatic work, and whatever else fits your needs in the moment. But underneath all of that, I’m really person-centered and relational. For me, the relationship comes first. I’m all about creating a warm, trusting space where real growth can actually happen. I’m also passionate about mentoring emerging professionals through ethical, evidence-based clinical supervision.

Additionally, (for now) I only work virtually with clients, and my work centers on creating a supportive, grounded space where people can feel genuinely heard and understood while building healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Overall, I care deeply about helping people strengthen their emotional well-being and feel more connected in their everyday lives.

That’s enough about me, I can’t wait to learn more about you!
